I am wondering if my computer will be able to edit files recorded in avchd. My computer has 3 gb of RAM, a 2 ghz pentium dual core processor and a 32 gb operating system. Can it handle avchd? Are there any editing softwares besides FCP and Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 that can edit AVCHD natively? Are there any disadvantages to converting it to a different file type?
