yea its so confusing the only pros ive heard that say cab are dashe and tanner

Cab is short for Caballaerial.. which is a fakie 360 in a vert ramp on a skateboard... that's what the fuck it is.. i don't know who the fuck brought it to snowboarding.. i guess it kinda makes sense in a way if they are spinning switch frontside... but it doesn't work in skiing man

when skiers say cab, they mean switch. no it's not the same as cab in skateboarding, but that's just what some people call it. sometimes i just say backwards

ya, cab on a snowboard is switch frontside..... some skiers are saying cab for switch... its lame. just say switch... its alot less confusing

Of course, we could have used 'fakie' to refer to backwards on skis. Which might have made a lot more sense than 'switch', and saved 'switch' for what we now call 'unnatural' spins and slides. Which, again, seems to make more sense.
