90% of you are douchebag faggots.  You all look like fucking idiots, trying to be "gangster" and "hyphy".  In reality you are a spoiled 15 year old rich piece of shit who can't make your own decisions.  My bro just got back from High Cascade a couple days ago and told me all the boarders hate the Windells skiers, and that's JUST what we want for our sport.  Clean up your act, make your own decisions on what you want to wear, not just what pros are wearing.  Take a look at yourself in the mirror for once and don't but 3xl Jiberish when you're 5'5.  No hate on baggy clothes but when you're wearing full on bandanas and shit in the summer you must be retarted.  You don't look gangster at all, you look like idiots.  You're creating hate against skiing that is completely unnecessary, and pushing our sport in the complete wrong direction.  So fuck off

The funniest/ most ironic part about this is that you are saying they should choose what they want to wear and not be posers. Maybe they are wearing what they want and your just a hater. You seem like the douche bag and not them. Really? how can they be a douche bag for dressing a certain way. The argument over what clothing people wear is such a huge waste of time and there is no right or wrong to it. Yeah the hate on this site used to be "parents pay for it" but now kids claim they saved up for it themselves. Bullshit i dont personally know anyone who would blow 2,400 to go ski for a week. On top of that you could have bad conditions and get shit stolen. I think 10% would be a good estimate for the kids that pay for it themselves and to them props for having the dedication or just horrible spending plans

1. DIX is being shipped to windells on his parents dime with his XL first drop and numerous tall tees and is bitching about other kids doing the exact same thing. my opinion is that SOME of those kids wear too huge clothes. of course its their bussiness what they wear, but it looks kinda stupid when their dresses sweep the snow >.<

I would completely agree.  There is probably such a small percentage of camp riders that pay for their own camp.  I know MOST 14-17 year olds probably don't pay for their own camp.  Now that I know the value of money (having student loans now), I would never pay to go to a ski camp for a week.

I'm a snowboarder.

I don't HATE SKIERS (omgzzzz hate), but I'm getting pretty annoyed with the whole "gangster" act.  Skiers all wear the same shit and it's kind of annoying.  I guess I'm just sick of the typical skier act that everyone puts on.  I'm not here to argue, that's just my opinion.  Hell I had my "gangster" period myself.  I wore pants that were far too big for me last year and a huge ass tall tee.  I recently realized that it isn't MY style.  Call me a gypsy or whatever, but I'll take that as a compliment.

The whole summer camp/rich kid shit is annoying.  If kid's parents can AFFORD to send their kids to go SKIING then that's awesome for them!  Personally I spent my 3+ grand on a new camera which will last me much more than a week (I'd hope).

if its not comfortable, and doesnt appeal to your senses - dont wear it. windells marketing is targeted at kids 12-17 with rich parents, so there will be plenty of cocky rich kids at windells every summer. dont bitch about it.

i actually just got back from hood and i was thinking the exact same thing, also high cascade looks so fucking sick, but anyway most of the kids are just there to be baby sat because their rich ass parents dont want to deal with them for a week, a majority of them are worse than i am at park skiing and i fucking suck however those same kids look "steezy'er" than pro skiers

if i was a high cascade snowboarder i would hate them too. based off my observations from above of windells 60% of the kids just fucking sit around and are just wasting their parents money

no disrespect to anyone who earns their money to go there or who actually goes there to learn and ski and not sit around and try to look like henrik

Exactly, these are the douchebags I'm calling out, not kids who wear baggy clothes and/or bandanas.  The fuckers with brand new everything that they obviously didn't pay for and that are more concerned with looking cool and being thug than having fun.

The other group of cunt fucks I can think of or I guess lots belong to both groups but... The kids who won't try anything because they're embarassed to fall so instead they just look thug or pretend to be taking an easy lap or something.  They see another skier killing it and are like "oh I have to act better than him".  Everybody falls, everybody comes off rails early occasionally, and even Tam Walmart misses his afterbangs on occasion.  Please just ski and have fun rather than being concerened with what other people will think of you

it sounds like you care what other people are doing more than just focusing on yourself. who the fuck cares if some 14 year old who could not fill out a mens small hollister shirt is wearing xl saga down to his ankles. if he wants to do that all the power to him it is either his money or his parents money not yours. quite bitching about other people and just ski if someone wants to sit in the park with brand new gear and never ski that is his business. just ignore it and have fun that is what skiing is about.

High Cascade hates skiers because they market their camp that way. The adds have had comments that make fun of skiers and the way skiers ride, comments making fun of windells, etc. It's part of their marketing. They foster the hate.

I've been to Windells twice. Both times i've been there, all the kids there ski all day, and skate or tramp or now dryslope till they go to bed. You won't find a bigger group of kids with better attitudes. It's an amazing vibe; the tag line "the funnest place on earth" is for sure the truth. Windells is a great place, with great coaches and lots of kids who are perma-stoked on skiing.

If they want to wear 8xl night gowns skiing, let them. If they cover up their faces with bandanas, let them. Who cares? I wore something over my face the whole time I was there, fuck sunscreen and those rays are brutal in the summer.

Your attitude is exactly what fosters hate in skiing and discourages little kids who aren't as good skiers from getting better. Grow up.

Very nicely worded. I have a huge respect for snowboarding just because I grew up with snowboarders, but High Cascade seems to breed little hating bastards who are sent to camp with 800 dollars in cash just to look cool with the new gear, which is likewise for Windells campers but the difference is the skiers don't seem to hate on the snowboarders nearly as much.. Its gotta be a jealousy thing because windells lane is twice as sick at HCSC.

 But who really cares, everyone is there for the same reason... The ski and snowboard in the summer when there is no local hill to shred at..

I definitely do care more about what other people are doing, I don't care at all what I look like or how I appear to others because I know I don't look overly ridiculous.  I've stated many times  to wear whatever in the flying fuck you want, but don't try to be someone you're not.  If some kid with xl saga down to his ankles is swearing at and making fun of some other kid because he's trying to learn and falling, or wearing a jacket that's too small or his goggles are over his helmet, that's what bugs me. 

If you wear baggier clothes or tall tees it doesn't mean you have to be "thug", wear a snuggie that drags along the snow but don't act like you're tough shit because of it.

haha this is awesome.  But oh well, kids don't look that stupid in the slopes with their baggy clothes as long as they got their limits too. But at summer when I'm in the city or whatever and it's really hot outside, beautiful weather, bluebird etc and kids are passing by with tall beanies, tees to tha knees (seriously) and their bandanas on i feel like I'm walking a changing room for a circus or something.
