Well, I'm extremely bored and trying to get some more posts on this website since I'm fairly new. So I'm posting kind of random threads but hopefully interesting.

Broken collarbone fucking sucks, it takes so damn long to heal, but damn some of you guys have had some gnarly injuries. be careful out there guys/gals, skiing is a dangerous sport.

Ridiculous

Fractured a couple transverse processes on my spine, lucked out and was only out for a month or two but if I had hit two inches over on my actual spine it would have been really ugly. Also got a bad hematoma in my hip a couple years ago, and I've of course had countless scrapes, bruises, strains, and minor concussions.

Chronic BTS - Blue toe syndrome. I lose one or both of my big toe nails every season. It's like a deer losing it's antlers every year, but it probably hurts more.

seperated mine too over a year ago now . 4 dislocations afterwards . i opted for rehab vs surgery but a few days ago i dislocated it playing frizzbee with my dog. how bad was the surgery?

Surgery was shitty, but certainly worth it. Well, the surgery itself was awesome for me. All I remember was an unlimited amount of chocolate pudding and someone who was tasked with providing it for me. The recovery is the bad part. It is over 6 months of feeling fragile. You're stuck in a sling at first, and it just blows. However if you're at that point, get it operated on. You want to be able to do normal activities with it.

Fucking dislocated shoulders.

2 surgery's in two years, two missed summers and i have to be a pussy durring the ski season not to re injure it's 7 months now till im able to do "contact sports" and a year before it should be back to 80%

Compound spiral fracture = broken femur ....2 months in hospital in traction attending school in the hospital
ACL MCL PCL complete tears = ACL replacement surgery with patella tendon graph..1 yr no sports
Broken wrist = 1 month cast..glory
Broken Nose = shitty
multiple shin(tibia) drains due to shin bang
3rd degree AC separation (shoulder) = 4 weeks sling (current injury)

Not a ski injury, but back when i used to snowboard there was a nice little rock garden and a big boulder at the top with a lip, i straight lined it from the top of the tree line and poped as hard as i could...i made it down but i hit a under-snow rock that sent me rag dolling into a tree, and a tree well. Minor concussion from the tree, broken board from the rock, sprained wrist and decent bruise on my ego from that one. apparently you were supposed to hit it aiming to the left......
