If I recall someone sanded a pair of riggers and dyed them and they looked like hell, I don't know about paint though.

Smuggs said something about doing it to an old frame and it looking alright. I'm not gunna sand them like hell though. just get some marks on it so paint will stick.

What color are the riggers? Perhaps you could dye them such a rich yellow it looks gold?

Red. I'm thinking etalic paint but I'm gunna use primer first. I think I'm gunna be using my soldiers more so I thought I'd give it a shot.

i just spraypainted my brown riggers white (a few coats of it that is) ... and afterwards i put a coat or 2 of clear protective straypaint on ... and they are awesome. not even kidding.
