it depends on how high your box is, and yeah white pvc slide better than black but black still slide really well. if you making a box then use white pvc because it's cheaper and you dont need thicker pipe(black pipe are more solid and thicker) but if you're making a single pipe rail then use the black one because you'll destroy the white one in no time.
if your box is arround 1 feet high and 10ft long then a 7-8ft high drop in should be good.
