Uhh skis please

hey guys i was wondering what skis to get next season. i demoed the surface ninelifes and loved them, but all of them were breaking after like a week. i also was thinking about k2 domains, but i dont really know anything about them. i had afterbangs this year and really didnt like how heavy they were, however i do like relatively flexy skis. i would prefer narrower 100% park skis. price isn't too big of an issue because i dont mind working a lil extra.i also was thinking of On3p because i heard they were great. but im open to any suggestions. i have not yet owned a park ski that i completely loved. so if you have any good recommendations please post up.

btw im like 5 7 and 130 pounds.

i really like my LTEs.  super light, poppy, just all around fun.  really good swing weight.  love the responsiveness of the bamboo core.   other skis i like are the AR6.  both are super solid fun park skis.

Ok, so you seem to be very close to in my shoes...

Personally, Domains, LTEs, and Jeronimos are on my list. Domains are perfect for park, their "jib rocker" (zero camber, tip and tail rocker) make them super easy to press and butter, while their symmetrical design keeps them perfectly balanced. LTEs are the perfect mix of park and groomer, carve like a champ, and are so light and poppy that you feel like you can do anything anywhere. J-Mos are pretty much perfect everywhere, light, poppy, tip and tail rocker, easy to carve, their pretty much bosses. Tough call, I guess it comes down to which ever one you're feeling more.

the 2 big things are weight and durability. also what would be good, light bindings to use. i heard marker jester and look 12. thanks guys i just really need a new set up this year and want to see your opinions

Jester = 1890 grams with brake up to 90 mm.
Look PX 12 jib = 1290 grams.  Can't figure out if that included bindings or not.

Both are really solid.  The Jester goes up to a 16 din though.  I would get that pair.  I think you get a little more feel from the Jester because it has a wider platform than the LOOK.  I've ridden LOOK PX 12s for a long time and they are super solid.  I have never had a pair of jesters, but borrowed a buddies for a day and really liked them too.

Go with the LTE for durability and weight.  They also have really, really bomber edges that almost never crack.  I have 75 days on a pair with not a single crack.  Still amazed.

If you're checking out ON3P, why not check out the Blue Steeles?  That's their park ski.  I pre-ordered the Jeronimo this year, but I do a lot more all-mountain skiing than park.  So if you're looking for a park ski, also check out the Blue Steele.  But either way with ON3P or Liberty, I don't really think there's a way you could go wrong.  And I'm sure the Domains are sick too.

Get ON3P Blue Steeles. I just preordered mine a week ago and I looked for the same things you are looking for. The bamboo core makes them one of the lightest on the market. I think around 7 pounds. And they have a rocker and are flexy on the ends but stiff in the middle. Im going to order my bindings soon for them. Most bindings are around the same weight + or - a couple hundred grams (which is practically nothing). So I am leaning toward the Rossi FKS 140. Which are hella durable and are fairly light since they don't have same heel piece and eliminates some of the weight. Go blue steeles also great reviews too.

Also, check out mrstskier's review on the Blue Steele.  I read it, and it almost makes me want to buy a pair.  I actually think I might next season or when I get into park more.

i was thinking of the jeronimos because they were more flexible than the blue steele. can anyone compare the flex of the blue steele to the afterbangs or the scott p3s. thanks.

The Jeronimos are 11 mm fatter and not symettrical though.

No I'm just saying the Blue Steele's are a park ski.  But either way you can't go wrong.
