Help with autographed goggle lens, quick please

I bought a pair of Dragon Rogues on here a little while ago, and they're signed by Teej. I didn't really care but I guess it's a plus. So anyways, I wasn't specific enough about the signature and how intrusive it is to my vision, and just trying them on now I realized it's too large to handle.


BOTTOM LINE IS that I need some help with techniques to get it off. The reason I am looking for quick help is because I'm heading up to Whistler tomorrow morning and it would be great if I could use these instead of old goggles.

Google helps a bit, but I'm scared to attempt these methods and ruin the lens

I can't find anything about cleaning lenses, just glass and plastic, so I'm skeptical about using these

I've tried acetone and other solutions on another old pair of goggles, the ones that remove the marker also fuck the lens up permanently.

What I would do if I were you, is get the old goggles, write on them with permanent marker, and try using the methods that you found on google.  If those work, just do it on your good goggles.

I've been doing that, and after using acetone and a couple others, the goggles are unusable. FUCK

actually this.  if you don't have the money / time/ desire to keep the lenses then get it off, but i  think it would be cool to have a lens signed by him

1. That's last resort and will get done if I need to before next season

2. It is badass having his autograph but its kind of obnoxious

3. On my test gogs, hot vinegar removes dried spray paint BUT leaves minorish scuffing from using my nail through the cloth to scrape it off. Pondering whether it's worth it to do

TJ just so happens to be in Whister...maybe if you're nice and explain that you want to use his dope goggles without ruining his signature he might be able to hook you up with a spare lens...not gonna promise anything, but it's worth a shot. Bring your old ones as a backup of course.

I messaged him on facebook, asking politely if he has any solutions or what I should do. If I see him that would be amazing, and if he gave me a spare lens I would be so grateful but I don't really deserve it unless he actually just has one lying around.

no_steeze, it was kind of a bad idea on his part, but also on mine for not asking for better pics in the sale. So I'll take that blame for sure. If I manage to get another lens somehow before next season I'd be glad to keep this lens somewhere safe

cant see the sig but it looks just like that in gold

Actually I bought them in B/S/T but that's where they're from.
ski.the.east, I'd say remove the sig on one if possible, I decided fuck it, I'm just wearing them tomorrow. I'll figure out getting rid of it/ buying a new lens sometime before november.
Once again if I see Teej and it's a good time to talk, I'll see if I can buy a replacement lens for $30-40 or make a deal somehow, but chances of that happening are slim to none

Get some clear plastic polish from a car shop, they use it to remove scratched from plasitc lights/windows on cars. Rub it on with a cloth then buff it off, just do it three or four times untill the pen is gone, I've removed spray paint from plascit like this so I'm 99% sure it will work.
