soccer players are not pansies. they are not little bitches or pussys etc. the reason they roll around in the grass and take dramatic dives and all that shit is because that is what the sport has come to. no doubt it is lame, but its just as fucking lame as being able to review calls in football when the coach doesnt think they're right etc. all sports progress and change with new rules etc and its usually fucking gay but its just a part of the game.

so yes its gay/retarded/lame that they all take falls every fucking tackle and act like bitches, but thats because thats how you survive as a team and win games in the modern world of soccer. everyone does it and its sad but a reality that must be dealt with accordingly. those dudes are still fucking crazy athletes who could probably kick the shit out of any fat ass americans sitting on their couches calling them fucking pussies etc.

I semi-agree with you. i think that you cannot generalize an entire sport just by a few pussy athletes. but i also agree with the fact that that is what the sport has come to these days. And that is a sad but true fact. but i did like how some of the refs in the world cup games weren't giving players any of those stupid diving penalties

i dunno it's pretty prevalent throughout the sport now its just intergrated to being like okay, everyones going to dive hard and bitch off of every tackle so lets all do it and the refs are seeing that so thats definitley good. but everyones like oh their such pussies which is not really the case those dudes are fucking badass. theyre just evolving to meet the standards of the sport so thats the shitty part.

i'm sure if given the option most of the players would play the sport the way it should be played. it's because of certain teams that realized they could get calls in their favor and because of certain coaches who realized the advantage of being able to do that shit that the sport has gotten to where it is.

i remember back in fucking highschool i played hockey and my coach told us to take dives whenever we could to try and get penaltys called on the other team. it was fucking whack but it happens.

As an American, I can say that they are both great sports. I'm actually playing soccer this fall instead of football for various reasons that have nothing to do with me getting no playing time, because I play every down of the game.

But why is reviewing plays in football gay? They should do that in soccer too. If a player out plays others on the field to score, they should get what they deserve so the better team will REALLY win, instead of the one that got a lucky break imo.

sure this is what the game has become. I'm pretty over the argument that soccer players are pussies. I played pretty competitively for like 8 years and enjoyed most aspects of the game.

But honestly, if this is the most beautiful game in the world... then fuck the world. Soccer has become a childish and respect-less game. None of these players that you see diving and complaining about stupid shit have any respect for the game. There is no honor in soccer, no respect for the game and no sportsmanship.

I don't care how many new rules soccer has. It all comes down to the players. If you don't want to be called a pussy then don't fake a fall. If the other team is gonna win for acting like pussies then let them win and after the game say "hey nice fall.....pussy" Then the next time you play they aren't gonna fake a fall.....unless they are a pussy.

When I was told to dive when playing ball in school, I literally told the coach to go fuck himself, and I got kicked off the team. THAT TOUGH NIGGA.

Just kidding about being tough, I'm pretty soft and I'm not afraid to let people know.

I know that soccer is tough... I mean you're running around for a fucking hour, and when shit is rough, it's fucking rough. Still, it's oxymoronic to say they aren't douche bags for letting diving become what it is.

clearly you dont understand what a pussy/bitch truly is. just because you are acting a certain way to try and get an advantage over your opponent or get them kicked out of a game does not make you a pussy. it just makes you a dirty player, but everyones doing it so they're all dirty as fuck. if they were getting hit and taking dives/acting hurt then puss'n out and stepping out of the game then they'd be pussies but those dudes get laid out and keep playing so therefore they are not pussies. also they could probably rock your face in any kind of fight so yeah.

what they really need to do is change the rules with the cards thing. they should make it more like hockey where you just get like a 2 minue penalty. then all the pussies that fake that injuries would get destroyed. and then id probably watch soccer

and hey thats great that they could rock my face, but that doesnt make them tough, all that means is that they have larger muscles than me. people that feel the need to beat people up to solve their problems are the biggest bitches out there. all that means is that cant take an insult and/or are emotionally unstable, so basically a pussy.

you obviously don't watch hockey games on a regular basis. they give penalties for diving, players fall to the ice to make it look like they got tripped up all the time. diving/embellishing injuries is a part of every sport. it happens in basketball all the time too where fouls happen all the time like soccer.

on a side note, i will never understand some people who think soccer is boring. the game is constantly moving and anything can happen at anytime, no commercials, no time outs, no b/s. in some ways it is kind of like a constant powerplay, with both teams waiting for the other to make a mistake, passing and trying to make something out of nothing, being creative.

First of all you're an idiot. There is no way that you can compare diving in soccer to diving in hockey. When I watch a soccer game I see at least 10-15 dives per game. When i watch hockey on the other hand I'll see like 1 dive every 5 games at most. There is no fucking way that the amount of diving in hockey can be compared to the amount of diving in soccer.

It is way different than reviewing calls in football. If the coach doesn't think it's right, they stop play to make sure it was the RIGHT call and not someone trying to get away with being a huge pussy, or a mistake by the refs which both happen in soccer 40 times per game, every game.
