Do you have a heli that could hold a camera well? Even a GoPro is heavy for most of them. If it can fly well and is secure, go for it.

Those setups are thousands of dollars....

And it's not just something you can typically setup, that's an entirely new and expensive hobby, I'd know. haha

they were using one at windells while i was there. they are legit. but the one i saw was being controlled by two guys. one was flying the helicopter and one was controlling the camera

Yep

The hard thing about it is that Trent, along with a couple other guys in the industry who are doing this, can maneuver the camera - you have to rig the mount so that you can adjust camera angles etc, not just have it point somewhere.
