Who really trippled first?

yeah, Sammy Cs was the first we saw on film, but there were threads and rumors of other pros landing them first, such as Wallisch, and Bobby Brown. So who gets cred for the first one?

No dude JP Walker was the first person to really do doubles back in like '02 or '03 and there was a snowboarder that did doubles in the pipe in the 90s but i cant remember his name

dude, "getting into skiing?" I've been skiing my whole life, assumptions only make an ass out of u and me, duh. Credible names as in any name people might recognize, cause a video of some random guy doesn't mean as much. I was a fucking racer before i got into freeskiing, and have skied all over dumb-ass, and prob know more about skiing's roots than you do. I'm just trying to keep up with the hype. You are stupid, and need to stop thinking that you're smarter and better than everyone else.

doesn't make it mean any less TO YOU, although how are we supposed to know the date, etc.? also, a name in a video, WOULD make it credible, and still, you seem to think that every kid skiing today has no respect or knowledge of the sport, so now you're not arguing a point, just complaining that you're better than everyone else and that kids are turning the sport into something you don't want it to be, so just stop bitching.

aerials is a whole different thing dude, its on-axis, and uses gymnast/diving techniques and motions to complete the rotations. park skiing is off axis, grabbed, and the rotations are set and completed in a whole different way off of extremely different jumps. park skiing is 100% not aerials, even triples, so stop comparing the two please.

The first triples were snowboarders, the first stomped, legit, triple was Bobby and then Torstein and then Sammy. But yeah, a few last years snowboard movies have BC triples

Probably a dumb idea to wade into this conversation, but define triple?

I'm pretty sure it was Powder that did a little history thing maybe 9 -10 years ago on flips in skiing.  Either way, aerialists aside, the "hotdoggers" of the 60s and 70s were definitely triple back/front flipping.  Wouldn't be surprised if one of these guys put a "twist" into it as well. 

Thus, it's time you qualify "triple."

Secondly, apply this to snowboarding as well:  Skiing was first in many things.

ASIDE from the obvious aerialists, the first trippple ive seen was in tee time, the collins brothers do DUELING triple backflips on stadium jump in alta.

cause to make a triple you need a big jump and even the jump from last year was too small for the triple of turpin.
and this is why he didn't land it last year cause he landed at the bottom of the landing

mike wilson did his wilson flip years ago at the us open while he had the flu. i t was such a sick double. Looks a lot like Dane tudors most recent flip In my opinion. wilson is the man

but rick wroboleski busted one in tem 13 movie the trip , it was called the risky flip
