Ignant vest material??

since its summer i was hoping to make a vest. does anyone know what material the vest is made of?? it would be awesome if you gave me a link to where i could buy it to.

I was looking around for the same thing on fabric.com and the closest thing i could find was this stuff, but i didnt look extraordinarily hard:

The vests are made from nylon so you can try searching for that around on the net if you dont like the looks of that stuff

dont get it. IMO, the fabric of the ignant is cheap and shitty. if you get reaaaaally small hole in there, you're fucked.

well what would you suggest i get then? i was hoping i could make a vest that was slightly waterproof or water resistant if that helps.

I would simply use the same fabric as a hood, without sleeve. But i know about the waterproofing, but i dont really care.
