Descent laptop for under $600

I know $600 is not much but it is all I got...

what is the best laptop to get with my money?

I want a RAM of at least 4gb and a good graphic card

anything that will be good for video editing

why don't you buy a desktop.  You can get so much more for the same price as a laptop.

Im tired off sitting in this dirty basement where my brother plays x-box live 24/7 even though it is basically the only spot in the house that alows my desktop to even connect to the internet...............if that was not the case then I would

MacBook non pros and 13" MacBook pros suck for editing, and refurbished are still 800+

The difference is night and day editing on a machine with built in graphics vs a dedicated card. In this kids budget he could get a win7 laptop that performs way better than apples 13" line, which is what he wants.
The 13" MBP is not "pro" its just a Macbook with backlit keys and a sexy exterior. The Pro line is 15" and 17"
