Sucks dick. The Afterbang graphic is nearly the same, and even the Pollard pro models are a little disappointing. Once they stopped making the Bacon with the black and white base, they stopped looking good. There's good reason I switched to all Armada skis this year.

the new bacons have a black and white base. I think the new blends and bacons look prime, and i bet they kill it as good skis too.

Don't like the hoodies as much, the static and jib hoodies were sick, I'm going to have to pick one up before stores run out of stock. Ski's look good but I've never ridden Line so can't tell.

I'm not sold on the skate deck thing. Sure skateboards get thrashed on rails, concrete ects but they also break all the time. Any good skater goes through tons of boards.

masterminds and dart poles look dope and a few other things. ep's stuff looks to dark and creepy i think. i like the idea of a skate deck for jibs/rails but i think that the should of had last years chronics they were sick

bacons and chronic cryptonites are really nice. Personally I like the more neutral darkish look but I know that many people like bright popping out stuff.

they look ok, being line, i expect them to be ahead of everyone else when it comes to having new innovative idea's.
i was really hoping for a whole new rockered park ski, something with the skateboard construction, butter zones, rocker, ollie bands, or any combo of these would be awesome. both as a skinny park ski or something 95-105.

the ep pro is still an awesome pow ski, probably my favorite, but its been around for like 4 years now, they need keep the ep, but put out new pow/all mountain jib ski idea's. i love how the ep's really allow you to jib backcountry like a park, but i wish they were innovating mroe with the park inspired pow ski idea.
but most of all im really suprised that they havent made a brand new rockered park ski. by this year id expect them to have more than one.
i know i sound like a bitch wining about them, but its line, they have always been ahead of everyone else, but now they have been surpassed by more than 1 brand in that area.

but on a skateboard the board can go flying around, bashed into walls, flip out of control etc. but with skis they can't do any of that.

I don't really get the logic behind the whole skate tech thing. The extra pop and unique flex pattern is cool, but there is no way it is more durable than a normal cap or side wall construction ski. Skateboards aren't durable at all, they snap like nothing. Decks are cheap and thats why skaters can throw their boards around without worrying about it.

skateboards dont flex. and they are mounted on trucks, like a foot or so apart. so you can put a shit ton of pressure on that area between the trucks that has no support, and even then its pretty hard to snap it, if you got some skis that didint flex, mounted them on trucks and jumped in the middle they would probably snap just as, if not easier.

i dont get why people think that because skateboarders snap their boards that that construction would be weak for ski's just use some common sense and you will see that its a stupid way to judge the durability of the skis by comparing them to skateboards.
the only way its relevant is because skateboards do take getting thrown around and hit against stuff very well, like flying out of bowls and landing on concrete, hit against rails etc... i definitely think a skate deck could take mrore hits than a sidewall ski, ive had many sidewalls blow out, and im sure that a skateboard deck would handle that pressure much better.
