Do you think your camera isn't good enough?

I just came across this video on a photography forum.  The video is funny, if you don't wanna watch the whole 10 minute video go to the last 45 seconds or so where you can see the results of the shoot.  For the shoot an iPhone was used, as well as a fuckload of lighting equipment!  However the same results could be mimmicked with a light reflector or two and the sun.

but now the iphone 4 has such a higher quality shot, along with hd video recording

but seriously that was the most retarded video ever. The guy just wanted to show off all the equipment he has, and his "professional" knowledge. Yes, it's not about the camera, but when you have a professional model in a professional studio with professional lighting equipment chances are any camera and any photographer is going to get a good fucking shot. Then they blow all credibility by sending it off to a professional photography editor, who can remove all the defects to a photo that can be caused by a bad camera (noise, distortion, cropping, color issues, white balance, to name a few)
