High north ski camp tribute post

sitting on my ass here at work during the summer i couldnt help but remember when i had the time of my life in summer 03 at the infamous high north...

i decided i needed to write into words just exactly how much that place meant to me not only as a skier, but as a person

anyone else have amazing memories of that place?

high north class of 2000 here.  shannon schad taught me how to do rails. mike atkinson taught me mute 3s. and i skied a bunch of bump runs with josh loubek over on the bump lanes. and shane szocs might be the nicest person ive ever met!

went in 2007 the best time i have ever had i would love to go up to camp again but i feel like it wouldnt be the same since high north is not around anymore

it is actually really sad that it died.. i mean i never went to it but it was one of the original ski camps and now it has crumbled.. RIP
