Replying to Windows Movie Maker problem...

after a long day of filming today, my friend uploaded all of our clips to his computer. after about an hour of editing, the edit was basically finished. we saved the file on his computer and went on to other things. when my friend and i went back to re-watch the video all the clips on the screen are blank and have red Xs on them. it gives an option of trying to find the clips again, but none of those clips show up.

i'm freaking out right now. it's going to be soo hard to get those same clips again and i'm really hoping that they are not wiped off the computer.

yes, i know WMM sucks, but it's my frien's computer and that is what he edits with.

so has this happened to anyone else? anyone know how to fix this?
