Anyone know of a good EE Co-op to recommend to me....

I am an Electrical engineering major and want to do my co-ops somewhere I can ski. It would be Jan.-May 2011. Anyone know of good companies near good skiing that are looking, or recruit EE co-op students for me to send my resume into?

what is it you are looking for exactly? Like an internship? I'm an EE student, but I don't really know what you are talking about...

nahh im still a student but i work year round on the electrical/computer aspects of the design/operations of 7 NASA missions. id look into qualcomm. theyre in colorado and california and probably some more places. i hear that they are a great company to work for.

I will thanks. I have a hookup at Lockheed Martin that I am trying to get, but I want to have many offers, as co-ops usually lead to full time positions after graduation.

To the guy above adam_astroNOT, I am looking for suggestions/recommendations for an EE co-op. If you are unfamiliar with what a co-op is, it is like a full time well paying internship which usually lasts around a semester that you do while enrolled in a university.

Oh ok. Also look into NIST. My sister did something like that with them in D.C and they have an office in Boulder too.

i have never heard anyone say anything good about lockheed. good projects, good money and what not but they are just a giant company that sees employees as disposable. the people at qualcomm love it because it is very employee friendly and a casual, fun place to work. NIST is probably good experience but probably closer to lockheed in terms of employee life

My cousin works there and he likes it, and its in an area of interest to me. But, I am definitely going to check out the other two companies tomorrow. Plus, even if Lockheed doesn't offer a full time position (if I even get a coop there) it would look really good on my resume to say I cooped there. But, I just am looking for good suggestions that will be best for me and my career.
