1080 PR PE Which one???

Hi everybody!! This is my first post. Ive got a doubt It should be great if you can give me advice about this matter. Im gonna bye a pair of twin tip skis but I don´t know which is better for my style of skiing. I want them mainly for powder but they must be twin tip because I wanna practice in the park. I´ve said that I want them for powder but where I live this kind of snow is not too much usual so they should be the most versatile as they can be. Anything more?? Haha Well so I spent some time in piste I´d like that this skis had a good sidecut so the radius must be as small as possible and with the toughness not too soft.
What I really want is a twin tip for all mountain.
The shop where I´m gonna buy them sells the 1080, Pocket Rocket and Public Enemy. I don´t know if the 90 mm Pocket Rocket waist is too big for going on piste and my style of skiing. Besides everybody say that foam core of salomon skis sucks. Has PE wood core?? Perhaps PE is not stiff enough to go strong. Wich is the toughest one?
Finally people talks very good things about Mad Trix Mojo but I can´t buy these in this shop.
What do you think?? Which is better for me??

yes, of those choices the PE is the most durable and probably the best all around. If you really like to ski pow, and you do it at least half the time, I would check out some beefier skis that also do well on the groomed surface. If you like the mojos someone here will respond. I have heard they are really solid skis.

Thx, but I have a problem now, all PE have been sold out but I can get a PR with bindings (S912 TI)for 480 $ Now there is no possibility to buy PE in my city so I have to wait some time to be able to go to another city to buy them What can I do??

if your a powerful skier you dont want the pocket rockets or 1080's they will break down a lot quicker and are not very durable.Go with the pe's.the pe's are also a lot cheaper and you get a better ski

Webquique - I reread your requirements and you're all over the map.

Versatile, in-the-park, occasional powder skiing, short carving radius: go with the 1080 since the PE is sold out. The Rocket is sketchy on the groomers and creates a fair bit of resistance in the air. A lot of kids like it 'cause it is forgiving on landings, but that just covers up bad technique. Get the skills, then the tools.

As to the foam core argument, a lot of old stereotypes from the original injected foam have persisted (they turned to dust after a season or two). IMHO, the CURED milled cores are just as durable as the vast majority of so-called wooden skis, with a considerable saving in weight.

Ok, I´ll look for the PE. Till then, what do u think about ZAG skis? They look pretty cool and I think they are suitable for my neccesities: short carving radius (13.5 m for 177, mid fat waist (75 mm),extra long and wide tip for perfect flotation in powder and twin tip. And there´s another one wider with 84 mm waist. The only problem is the price. What do you think??

i would go for the PE's thats what i have and i love them. they are great for everything

i reccomend the pocket rockets first, then the 1080s, then the public enemies. the PEs are too heavy and lack the response necessary for a good allmountain ski. they make a decent park ski though.
