haha you're an idiot. every game is a re-hash of a similar title with slightly better graphics, a few more features and some new modes/missions. i would say less than 5% of games released in the past 5 years are even close to "innovative".

and @ ski.the.east:

i completely play that game like a skier. even when i'm skating street i pretzel everything.

and although its really fun to skate like a skater sometimes, id be really bummed if they did do a patch like this and you could never do dubs/trips again. though i havent landed a trip yet..

iv landed 5 trips. they are sooooo satisfying to land but you can only do flats and not corks. at least on my jump that is

hmm i have only tried trip corks (as opposed to flats) so you may be onto something. but its also sort of tough to get a good trip jump going

try a fakie big spin to nose manual on a manual pad to nollie kickflip out
I know its not as exciting as spinning and flipping, but some of the more tech flip tricks/grinds can still be fun

pssh you actually posted a trick i could do. haha

i can do the majority of flip tricks pretty well, but i have a terrible time landing on rails with any sort of control.

I think doing realistic stuff on hardcore mode is alot more fun than doing crazy flips and stuff.

I never game really but when I do maybe an hour a week in the off season (didnt touch my xbox from december - april) its always skate. I like to do skiing tricks on mega ramps but I love realistic street skatin

the other day I went to a friend's place and he had it set on easy, i was impossible to do dubs, after one flip or whatever the skater stopped completely to spin or flip. Then i switched it to normal and bam i was stomping dubs. Maybe it's just one easy that it does that, since it's suppose to be easy to land things?

i always love doing all 8 (blunt style) and all the skiing variations just using the blunts slides and nose/tail
switch ups from like nose to tail ect. that usually can keep me playing for awhile going around the town and trying to do those tricks on various rail lines/ledges.

but on the OP's note i have not encountered this patch in the game.
