so a couple weeks ago my friends mom was proposed to from this awesome guy. and a week before the wedding he was driving to the grocery store when a drunk driver crashes head on to his car at 65 miles an hour. Broke his neck and then died. so remember kids. never drink and drive.

seriously. driving drunk, driving and texting, even driving while you're tired... people need to realize they are in control of a speeding hunk of metal.  is it seriously worth it ?

and im sorry for the loss.  shit sucks so bad wen the victim wasn't doing anything wrong.

lost a good friend a year ago...got a dui myself 6 months ago

it took me a while to learn its really not worth it, no matter what the reason is.

I'll admit I've driven buzzed. Never so fucked up that I'd run a red light or not pay attention. You have to be SHIT faced or seriously bad at driving to pull some shit like that. That's fucked up. People need to learn their goddamn limits and stop fucking up so hard. I hope you went to that guys house and gave him the most fucked up stare you could muster. There is no excuse for something like that. Terrible.

insurance costs suck

drivers reinstatement fee sucks

suspended license followed by restricted license sucks

probation sucks

court fees suck

duis just fucking suck.


I've never had one but my friends seem to find themselves with DUI's all the time.

it doesnt help the fact your drunk, but with all the wind rushing thru your hair and you get all cold, and bugs hitting you and stuff. its really sobering.

lol you just named literally EVERYTHING that has sucked about my life the past year. all of that shit is a huge hassle and stress. A lot of it taught me a lot though but the expenses have been so far over the top I could of never imagined.

dude michigan will yank your chain around forever.

although with you living around detroit, it may be easier.

get caught in one of the richer communities in michigan where they have money to staff a large number of probation officers and a room stocked with drug tests = your life is hell

get caught in a community facing tough economic times where they got to the point where they have to pick and choose battles....you are off probation as soon as you can pay your fuckin fees off almost. whatever the judge says, count on your sentence being 1/4th that.
