Bibs?

I have always had snowpants, and this year i was thinking about picking up a pair of bibs. If you could list a couple pros and cons about bibs.

I have the blue air raid bibs, I got th to replace my OTTs and I love them. They're super warm, especially with the bib up. They keep the snow out for the most part (sometimes if you take a pretty heavy fall or the snow is really soft/slushy it gets in there). And of course, they have built in suspenders. Bibs are cool, but I do like to have a pair of regular pants lying around, especially for spring skiing cause they can get way too warm, even with the vents open and the bib down.

So would you recommend that I buy the new First Drop Bibs that come out in 2011, I live in Wisconsin so it's cold for most of the year.

pros:

keep snow out
more pockets
warmer
can sag more if you want

cons:

can get to warm
not wearing them up can lead to the suspenders hooking on shit
not a large selection of baggy bibs

that is a really good idea, you'd think more companies would do that.

they're nice but i wouldn't get them because i never ski powder (east coast) so there is not much snow to get down my pants (snow skirts anyway?) and my legs never get cold and i have pretty shitty pants (and just where shorts underneath) so in the spring i would not a big bib.
