I vote pub. Bar is full of tapout shirt wearing douchebags and questionable women.

Pub is good for Guinness pints and not hearing top 40 music on a loop all night.

Im 15 so secretly pounding brews and shots is all i do. However, we do have a pub near us and its actaully nice and bars seem to smell like piss. So i say pubs

i'm a fan of bars with decently big patios. the music can't be so loud you need to yell, and i need somewhere to sit down and relax comfortably.

i can do clubs if i'm hammered, but i usually don't like them .

Pub no doubt. Bars are okay for pre-lash, and that's it.

Pubs have a significantly better atmosphere, better drink selection, and a generally better ambiance.

Serves loads of real ales, ciders, cocktails etc, and the atmosphere is unmatched.

I have always been more a fan of the pubs, as they have food and you can watch ufc or other sporting events.
the only times I have been to clubs have been to see death metal shows.
other than that I have no interest in clubs

Im more of a pub sorta person - chilled nights are always fun.  That being said a quiet one in the pub can/does end up as a large one in some club somewhere and tbh doesnt a good crew make for a good night no matter where you are?

Depends on your motives. If you wanna go hang out with some buddies then definitely pubs.

If you wanna get some ass, then clubs.

Yea it all depends what mood your in or what your looking for. Just chillin with the boys, slammin back some brew, gettin some food and watchin the fights, the pub is where its at. If your ham dammered and lookin for a rowdy night chasing questionable women with loud music bumpin than the club is probably where you wanna be.

Is the bar in a college town or a regular city? College town.. avoid ALL drinking establishments and drink with friends on your own.

In a regular city, look for the quiet bars or the pubs. FUCK clubs. Hate those places.

I fucking can't stand the bars in my college's town (Cheney, WA). They don't even serve beer in a regular glass. Fucking all plastic Miller Lite beer pong cup in a bar that doesn't even carry Miller Lite or other Miller beers. Killians banner but no Killians type bar.

As stated, it depends.

If I'm shitfaced and looking for some ass, it'll be a club. Otherwise pub all the way. I can think of hundreds of amazing nights I've spent in pubs.

Clubs on the other hand, I've probably enjoyed about 5 in total.

there arent really pubs in my area. but to group clubs and bars into one category is a bit bold. first off all clubs/bars/pubs have differant atmospheres.

i like going to my favorite bar over blubs any day.

I have an order in which I visit stuff> Friends house then to the pub then we go to a bar then to a club and then we finish our night at the near empty bar we visited earlier cause the pub is closed by then.

It's the perfect combination.

I never go to clubs, and I try to stay away from "bro bars". There are a few really nice bars/pubs in my area that are never overly crowded that I can always have a good time at.  So, I guess bars and pubs, but no clubs.

I usually drink at my local pub, they have proper Guiness and you're guarantied good conversation. You get to know a lot of cool people, especially at real Irish pubs. It's like you have a little pub family.

Normal bars I find pretty boring, no familiar faces, too many distractions; big screen tvs, music blaring, etc..

Clubs are a lot of fun. I only go clubbing maybe once a month tops, but when I do I honestly have a good time.

depends on the kind of bar/pub or club. shitty dance clubs blow but classy jazz clubs are fun, bars and pubs are good as long as they're so fucking shitty, but really its all too god damned expensive.

to expand on this.. Dive bars are fucking amazing. any place that has dollar beers, two dollar wells all day every day, opens at seven, and has black walls, shit lighting, a crazy hobo regular, a graffiti covered bathroom that you'd never piss in if you weren't already piss drunk, and a really old bearded bartender, quite simply can't be beat.
