Haha. You'd be fucking amazed at how high the ratings are for it... ESPN wanted to change the format so they could run the contest longer on TV, but the competitive eating association didn't like their proposals lol.

I'm sorry but I watch this every year. The commentators are hilarious and the competitors are even funnier. Stop being a bitch and enjoy it. Its funny and entertaining.

Chestnut didnt come close this year cause he was dehyrdated that day and the weather was veeerrry hot and humid.

I'm sure not having Kobayashi in it also changed his strategy too... he was able to cruise rather than go full out.

And yep... 95 degrees + mad humidity? its hard to eat the most dehydrating food on the planet in those conditions... 54 is still fucking insane.
