What bindings should I mount on 2010 volkl walls?

open to suggestions, looking for good bindings that will fit that are light and park bindingsbut arent crazy priced.

how big are you cause my favorite binding that is pretty light is the salomon z10 if you ski hard and are like 150 try the z12

STH12 maybe... no driver toe isn't positive.
Dynastar PX12's.
Marker Griffons.

Those are a few lighter bindings, but only really good if you're a lighter person.

Maybe I'm wrong on this one but if my mind does'nt betray me it's just the STH16 and STH14 Driver that has the driver toe. Normal STH14 and the STH12 actually has the Z-toe. It sure looks like it

Step 1, go here: https://www.newschoolers.com/web/forums/readthread/thread_id/481906/ and read that
Step 2, Go to your local shop and see what brands they have and recommend for your height and weight
Step 3, If step 2 fails/seems incorrect, check the DIN Chart here: http://www.dinsetting.com/index.htm
Step 4, after reviewing the chart and seeing what your DIN setting should be around, pick one of the following DIN set numbers...4-12, 5-14, 6-16, 8-18 - your DIN setting should be around the middle of the setting (for example if the chart says you should be at a 9 go with the 5-14 or 6-16)
Step 5, pick a brand that you feel is the most durable and has a binding in your DIN range.

PRICE SHOULD NEVER BE THE BIGGEST FACTOR IN PURCHASING BINDINGS, it can lead to major frustration and possibly injury.

That's what the "What Binding" thread is for, but unfortunately it seems like no one really really uses it.

By the way, and I don't want to sound mean, but... the "Z10" reply is just awful. It's cool that it's your favorite binding, but honestly, they're crap. No park ski should have a binding under a 12 DIN unless the rider is under 100 pounds (if you noticed, I didn't even mention the 4.5-10 DIN range in my reply). The reason is, most 10 DIN bindings are completely made out of plastic and tend to break easily, not to mention the countless brakes you'll go though with them. Again, if they work for you, that's awesome, but 90% of the skiers on this site should probably never click into a 10 DIN binding - they're good for cruising around the groomers at a moderate pace and possibly for beginners at park, but it's worth it to spend a few extra bucks on something that will last longer and work better for you, even if you are a beginner (since a 12 DIN goes down to 5 anyways) then you wont have to buy new bindings next year.

haha im like 145 so im leaning towards griffons or marker m11's because theyre ridiculously cheap and theyre a solid binding...im not sure tho?

Everybody hates Griffons.  I've never had them, but I would never get them either.  I've only heard bad things about them like them breaking all the time, pre-releasing, and that their not very durable at all.

If you want a really good binding, check out the FKS 140.  Or if you can get your hands on one, maybe the FKS 155 but that DIN might be a little too high but it might work.  The 140 isn't as durable as the 155 or 180 because those 2 bindings have metal toe pieces, but the 140 is still a great binding.  Also, if you think you can pull of the 15 din binding and you can't find the FKS 155, check out the Head Mojo 15.  I just picked up a pair of those and they are a bit heavy, but I can assure you they are very durable.

But I don't know if 15 din would be right for you because I don't know how hard you ski or what you ski, so don't listen to the 15 din part if you can't pull off a 15 din binding.

i dont hate my griffons i put like 85 days on mine this year and they held up really well except for the cosmetic scratches.

uhh there all sooo expensive, i need a binding thats like priced in the 100's range that solid if there is any, anyone know of a solid inexpensive binding for park?

- Griffons are fine...just a whole lot of plastic, but you don't weight too much so you'd be fine
- FKS 120s, 140s are really sick and durable, and will keep your knees in check, if you can find some 155s they're badass and will last you forever - all of them are definitely worth the extra cash
- STH 12s are kinda crappy, STH 14s are what I personally ride (other than FKS) and I like them, they keep everything really light, but STH 16s are better, but you probably can't really justify a 16 DIN binding at your weight (I don't know your height, skier type, or boot sole length, so it's hard to tell you)
- Jesters are better than Griffons, but again, they're a 16 din
- Finally, the only other binding I really feel is good for park/freestyle is Tyrolia Peak 15s (or Head Mojo15s or 4FRNT Deadbolt 15s - they're all the same, just different names).

I know a lot of people will disagree with me and say PX12s or something like that - but I've had PX12s, and I really disliked them, they're heavy, have brake issues, and you can't put the track all the way forward cause it will pull the brake out (not a huge issue, but it was an issue for me).

I really think you should find a way to save up some more money and get a really nice pair of bindings - remember bindings can be used for years if they're good. But, here is a pair that will work for you and isn't too expensive:

Whatever you do, DON'T buy the Marker M series, Salomon Z series, or anything that's similar - you'll be regretting it all season.

there also going to have the marker squire park biding next year but id wait a year to see how thy hold up before purchasing a pair

example on why thats a good idea (Salomon suspects)

Check out that website... That's where I got my Mojo 15s.  I wouldn't go for griffons though.  They're overpriced.
