Cheap yet HD Cam?

I'm looking for a affordable HD camera that I can make nice short edits with. Affordable as in 100-250$. Any suggestions?

there a bit more like 350 but there so sick for winter or summer well worth the bit more you wanna spend

i recently got a gopro HD helmet hero,
really sick for sure, the only thing is if your filming someone else, you have to stay real close to them to get a good shot. but you should get one for sure

With the wide angle lens it is a good idea to be real close, but for the money the GoPro is a great buy, awesome waterproof shockproof case and all that jazz. One down side, now view finder for checking your shots while your taking them.

contour hd is a tad cheaper and comes with a memory card.

Last time I checked gopro doesnt. so you have to add that onto the sticker price.

some cameras claim ther hd but they really suk u might wana check outt camcorder reviews sites i have the canon fs200 which is realy nice for only like 200
