or, the thread about epic ballads concluded by solos that are as epic. just in case you are stuck with bullshit music and wondering if there was ever some better stuff around, i am going to enlighten you and bring you my top5 songs in said category.
first reason for this thread is my goal to make the world a better place, i am fucking serious about that.
second, and more imporantly, if someone knows similar songs (mainly of that era late 60s-beginning 80s), bring em on, love that shit.
and just for the record, i hate no music, i have no problem with anybody listening to anything. as long as its educated and not just following blindly something, you can listen to whatever you want, but if you wanna have a good hour, listen to these five tracks.
god-tier
possibly the best song ever, in general. only song i could listen to the whole day. 2 times in a row is minimum for me.
semi-god tier
also amazing, although the lyrics are so mystical and weird sometimes (jimmy page even admitted that he has no clue what they are about) so its not that easy to feel it.
is an incredibly deep song. so nice when it starts over again.
doesnt fit the list, when you look at the other bands, g 'n' r are in another "category", but the song is perfect for this.
since alvin lee is fucking underrated (along with tYA in general), here is it.
btw, noticed how these guys play live? thats right, once upon a time, a band was standing on this big empty thing at concerts (the TYA one is not live, but the only live version on youtube sounds like i recorded it with my cellphone).
