im 17 now, but in april i will be 18 and the day i turn 18 i am going to a recruiters office and signing right up. but good for you man! more people need to do this kind of stuff, i love america so why not help everyone out

That's not necessarily true, just not recently I guess. My cousin was a battle damage assessment officer(basically dropped bombs on haji's) in Iraq. Just came back.

usually the marines are the first in then the army but yeah it hasn't been true lately. marines are still being deployed to iraq and afghanistan.

we still have shit LAV's. The Leopard is the only REALLY good thing about the Canadian military. It's even better than the Abrams.

ironic a few weeks ago a bear walked up to buddy and my trench and we fired a whole  box of blank on the C9 LMG at it. scared the living shit out of me.

Our equip isn't that bad, I mean our C7 assualt rifle is dialed down, just take good care of it.  Our C^ GPMG is old as balls, but it's a beast none the less.

 I really haven't seen the leoperds and the LAV so i've got no comment on them, i mean i've seen them, but don't really know what the fuck i'm talking about so i wont even try to get involved in that conversation. 

FUCK YOU to the guy who told me to watch out for beavers and moose up here? meh, maybe you where just playing, but our military is pretty solid for our size.

As a member of the United States Military I have the most utmost respect for Canadian Military. All bullshit aside with the joking and ribbing we give to the Canadians, the overall caliber of the individuals from their armed forces are exceptional. JTF2, Canada's version of Seal Team Six/Delta, is a great CT team that holds some of the best operators out there. When compared with Delta, SF, Seal Teams, Force Recon, and FBI HRT the JFT2 ranks up there with them as one of the best.

thanks everyone for the positive input +k to everyone haha and i saw the dispute between the Canadian members and the American ones so heres my input... as an enlisted Marine (CLAIM)!! i have to say that Canada has a bad ass military and deserves a huge amount of respect. and thank you to all the newschoolers members that are in the service

well its kind of the whole gung ho attitude behind them. not talking down on any other service but in my opinion they're the most bad ass and still have that oldschool warrior mentality where if i cant kill you with a bullet ill do it with my bayonet kind of thing
