New tripod and backpack?

I'm looking into buying a new tripod for my hv30 because the one I have has no fluid head and is getting old. I don't know much about tripods so I'm looking for a reccomendation. Requirements are: a fluid head, lightweight, also it has to be about $100-150.

Next is a camera backpack for my hv30. Has to be able to hold: camera, tripod, and a handle. The backpack can't be to bulky either. Looking to spend $100 and may buy it used to save some cash.

What are your reccomendations for either of them?

Didn't I recommend this for you? This is a great tripod for the money, I have it with my DVX and I love it. Great support, awesome movement, all in a typical Manfrotto product.

I've been looking online at tripods, and it looked like whatever tripod was 150 and below we're pretty cheaply, honestly I'd just say pay 100 bucks more for a smoother fluid head and better construction instead of cheap plastic that will just break after a couple of weeks.

I think I'll probably get a Manfrotto 701 head with 547 legs.

I just ordered the 701 head. I've been using my dads 25 year old tripod for the past few years and figured it was time for an update.

Dakine Mission is a nice backpack for hv30s, heres where i got mine, http://www.onlinefitness.com/product.cfm?pr=2758, they have more designs than most. Camera block fits a hv with a lens on it and plenty of accessories, and strap your tripod (or skis) to the outside.. overall great bag

the micro fluid heads are perfect for small cameras like the hv

I might need beefier legs in the near future, my kits starting to get pretty heavy

PS If you go into my profile the later vids that used tripod where shot with that one. Its a great support system, I love it (I think I said this before).
