no. if he isnt growing any more he should still get a large. and check the size chart and measure it on your self. large jacket will go down to mid knee

I'm 5'10" and will be growing a little bit more and I was considering a medium.  I know I want a large now but just saying.  I say medium if you're not growing, large if you're like 13 and will grow to 5'9" or 5'10" or so.
