It's a propaganda spewing bullshit documentary. Really it doesn't even deserve to be mentioned, it says nothing intelligent the entire movie and is shameful to the cause of legalizing marijuana.

It's clearly pushing the reform of marijuana laws. However, they cited many real studies on mj, and interviewed many knowledgeable people. It's biased, but definitely is a good movie for the cause.

you gentlemen bring up excellent points and it's an honor to have a frank exchange of ideas with scholars such as yourselves. however i personally have never minded reposts because i feel that many people see stuff for the first time in reposts. after all, if youve never heard of something, how would you find it using the searchbar?

I just watched it, hence my bump.

I had always thought "Meh, great, just another stoner documentary."

HOWEVER, it is an EXTREMELY well made and put together documentary.

I assume it is extremely biased, and I question some of their facts and sources, but they make some excellent points.

Everyone should watch this.

yeah they make excellent points and it seems like a good documentary and stuff but it is the most one-sided, biased documentary ever.

look who they interview - the editor of High Times? thats retarded because he (and all the other stoners they interview) are obviously going to be extra pro-weed.

dont get me wrong, im not against weed and i actually blaze pretty often but i have to say its a pretty shitty documentary.

no hate, just my point of view on it.

On the contrary. I took a films class this year, and we studied documentaries for a while.

In terms of quality, it was a VERY well put together documentary and they did an extremely good job of pitching their point and putting the shots/interviews together to get you to see THEIR side.

However, observant people like you or I notice their failure to pick sources/interviewees from both sides of the argument.

But, to be fair, I can only think of two stoners in that movie who sounded stupid and deadbeat to me: The High Times editor, as well as the girl who baked cookies.

Other than that, mostly everyone seemed intelligent, and seemed to know their shit. At least to me.

No hate as well :D

Exactly. To me it seemed like the documentary was constructed more to satiate the pro-legalization people out there.

However, with that being said, before watching this, I was bent ever so slightly towards illegalization. (I know what you're thinking, and yes, I have smoked before.)

After watching this, I find myself sitting on the other side of the fence.
