revelstoke, amazing but not much park.
mostly aboot the pow up here, lots of legit cat skiing and stuff and lots of sick mountains for pow and such, not tons of outrageous parks though.

Whistler has been consistently rated the best resort in north america, and as far as i know as an all around mountain it is balls-to-the-walls awesome. But if you combine the park abilities of silverstar and big white, and the big mountain abilities of revelstoke (all within 2 hours of Kelowna) you probably would have an even more kickass ski experience.

Anywhere in BC is good, but Whistler/Blackcomb definitely has the best of everything.

All around, including park, Whistler/Blackcomb is the best. The Blackcomb park is amazing, and the terrain is absolutely crazy.

first "Canada" is not as small as freaking Iceland! I hate people who want to categorize Canadians into one group. Canada has vastly different snow conditions and mountains across the land. Whistler may be great but it usually has very wet snow compared to the resorts in the Rockies like Sunshine and Louise. Canada is not just "wilderness" and "powder", we also have legit parks in COP and S.S./ Big white and whistler.

I wouldn't be so fast to jump and say whistler is the best place. If you've ever skied there consistently (more than a week vacation) you'll know they have some real shitty weather (inversions, rain, fog just to names some), and can have periods of drought and heat waves because the mount is so low overall. I would say that the Banf resorts have some pretty dope terrain and are higher/dryer and just awesome.

Nothing in the world compares to Whistlers night light however.

yea kicking horse and fernie, but biggy and silverstar are 2 really good mountains too. i wouldnt compare them to kicking horse or revy, but they are decent

banff is epic , fernie (not so much park there) and revolstoke for powder.  as well as kicking horse if you want deep snow

My trip to Whistler was amazing, and if you are on the West Coast just hit Whistler up, it is seriously Jesus. But Tremblant is an awesome one in the East, great skiing.

I have lived in whistler all 18 years of my life, i ski every day possible and i am still finding new spots on the mountain. the only bad thing is its super busy. always. but the skiing is amazing, sick ass pow, black park is sick, whole vibe around town is the best.
but i cant say its the best without having been to other places.

Revelstoke. Who needs park when you can have over a mile of vertical and Selkirk powder instead? Red is another option where access is pretty easy. It's only three miles from the US border and a simple drive from Spokane International Airport.

i've found everything i need out of a ski hill from Red Mountain.

you say you want park though... well, in CANADA, park... you've got Whistler, Silver Star (best jump line I've seen in Canada), COP, Blue Mountain, MSL/M, Avila, Tremblant...

Interior B.C. is PACKED with sick resorts. I've only ever skiied Louise and Sunshine in there though. Louise is a great all around mountain, and apparently they have a park but all I could find was an in-ground 8 foot long box and a 3 foot high rainbow..

Wasn't concerned though, the rest of the mountain is sick.

Sunshine has some crazy terrain, but it's smaller with less variety. But what they do have is one of the best parks I've ever seen.

Whistler is hands down the best resort I've ever been to, and that includes the fun I have off the hill too.

I've never skied outside of BC and Alberta though.

Revelstoke is not a 2 hour drive from Kelowna. Probably more like 4-5. Whistler is the best all round resort in Canada and probably North America too.

Sunshine, Louise, and the other banff/AB resorts do not even compare to whis or interior bc. And the east coast is just shit compared to banff. Don't get me wrong, i love sunshine and Louise, but they're just not in the same league. If you're passin through though they both have sick terrain and fun parks, the snow is just lacking.

Whitewater has pretty good snow but it is a bit of a stretch to say best in Canada. I spent a season there and had a great time though, fun little resort. Unless you ski tour it isn't exactly a destination location, the inbounds terrain is just too limited. That being said if you do ski tour the place is awesome. Sooo much great terrain within a short half-day trip. Evening ridge, ymir, hummingbird, trash chutes, westies, 5 mile, white queen, black queen, the list could go on forever of all the great backcountry spots.

hahaha yes.

another one on the east is Le Massif, its tiny but i have gone there for 4 years in a row and had the lightest, fluffiest snow i have ever skied every time, and the best glades in the east imo.


west would have to be whistler, fernie, sun peaks, revelstoke, kicking horse.

I definitely wouldn't call it tiny, 2500ft is the highest in Eastern Canada.
