Cliff Jumping in Maine

Hey does anybody know some good places to do some cliff jumping? i know about smalls falls but are there any other sweet places you guys know of?

really i wouldn't suggest fry's leap. The wardens have been more and more pissed at people jumping off, and it is really dangerous. Last year a kid became paralyzed because he didn't get enough running start and hit the rocks underwater at the bottom. Just don't do it.

On a side note the Trussel at Gambo Fields in Windham is SO FUN~!

And the Covered Bridge in Windham.

ya, all of the local rednecks from buxton and hollis are always there sipping on beers, but most of them are pretty nice people.

um, neither of the spots i frequent are excellent
spurwink bridge in cape elizabeth/ scarboro border

casino cliffs in cape, which you can only jump at high tide, and you need a running start

its not that big, but fun and really really cool, i would say about 17 or so feet but into a very deep and cool pool, emerald pools near bridgton, like a 10 minute hike from the road

Sabego has some sick spots. One of the clifs is a bitch to climb because it's basically a chimney chasm to get through but once you're up there, which I've seen girls do, there's a 30 and a 60 footer with an 80 foot pool bellow you (depth chart on my boat). You're gonna need a boat to get over there but it's worth it.

Quarry in Frankfort has some sick jumps in it. Been getting a lot of attention lately though because of the lady that died there a few weeks ago. Definitely sketchy, but there are a lot of very doable jumps. Black Stream in Hermon has a sick train bridge I've been hitting up lately. Probably 35ft.

Take rt 131 off of rt 1 in thomaston. 20 mins down 131 is a road on the left, long cove road. take that. a couple miles down is an old homemade sign that says please go 10 mph. take a right there. down that is a short dirt road. park in the lot on the right. Go around the gate and walk to the end of the dead end road. best quarry in maine. Officially in the town of St. Georges. Jumps ranging from 80'-10'. The water is incredibly deep and clean. awesome place to hangout for the day

Bumping for update, i'm heading up to maine to visit colleges and i have a free day sort of near salmon falls and sebago lake. Any update on how safe Frye's leap is? Looks pretty fun.
