Contour vs GoPro

Hello, I am wanting to purchase a new wearable camera. Which one is betting for powder and park?Sound quality matters but i really want to focus on the picture.

I think the gopros are sharper edge to edge.

contour is annoying as hell with wind..but less heavy on your head and its smaller

contour is better for a traditional helmet mount and it's more low profile but it gets maxed out by wind and the color and picture are not quite as good. the contour tends to wash out in sunny light unless you get a filter kit. go with the contour if you want something low profile and traditional but the gopro if you wanna get more artsy with mounts and stuff and it has a slightly better picture quality imo

the gopro is waterproof and the contour is resistant, the contour is lighter, and less noticible. and the pictures better. go with contour

i'm going to say go with the gopro unless it is strictly helmet cam. then go with the contour. people are figuring out ways to use the go pro in more and more ways. From what i hear more accessories are on their way.

This basically sums it up. I'd say its the opinion of at least 97% of people on NS. The Gropro is the best there is to my knowledge. Do your own research, Google search them both if you want a different opinion.

go pro, wider angle lens, more options with mounts, chest mount comes to mind.

waterproof, replaceable housing, more accessories.
