i think they are filming both movies at the same time just releasing them separately so they will be done pretty soon

i'm sure that since they'll be in movies 7 months apart, the DVD release will also be 7 months staggered. Who knows, they might plan it so that the first DVD comes out just before the second's big screen debut (that'd be legit)

either way, i cannot wait to see this. Anyone else rereading the books in preparation?

by christmas of 2011, you'll almost definitely be able to pay $200 for a box set of all 8, plus a bunch of extra stuff

then you'll be able to buy the 10 year anniversary version, the combo movie/book packs etc etc

believe me, they are far from done with making money off new harry potter stuff.

I'm not going to lie that looked fucking awful. I love Harry Potter and pretty much reread the entire series every time I go on a trip, but the trailer just made me want to vomit. I mean the Half-Blood Prince movie was godawful and that trailer was pretty badass, but this trailer just looked stupid.

why spoil it by making it 3d?
it doesnt need to be made 3d like ALOT of films these days. Avatar was only good because of its 3d visuals. It was more a display of landscapes and things than a film if you get me.
3d is distracting and doesnt always make a film better. You dont want to be distracted by 3d in harry potter, it actually has a decent, interesting storyline.

Can't wait for this, love these movies and books. There just kind of 'feel good' at any point you can sit down and either read or watch them and have a good time.
Harry Potter has been such a huge part of my childhood, that i'll be sad when its over.
