I was undeclared this past year(freshmen year) so i haven't actually taken any classes focused in the major yet. If I find it too hard to get a decent job after I graduate i'm thinking i'll probably go back to school for business.
Well i was a business major, the my school told me my "intelligence" aka gpa wasn't up to the standards for the business school, so now im comm. Plan on taking video production 1-3 and some photos and web design classes too. Maybe a film school in the future? who knows.
I just graduated with a film degree with an emphasis in visual effects. When I was a freshman I thought I wanted to focus on directing, then cinematography, and finally decided I liked post production best. I'd recommend taking as many classes (and interning) in as many different areas of film production as possible, because even though I only work in post production now, it really helps to also have knowledge of pre-pro and production.
