I'm on the fence about buying, it will be my first non-insulated jacket. I'm not any warrior and I like to be warm, is warmth a big problem with a technical jacket like this one? I'd really appreciate some feedback.

get first drop dude, i have tried on ldc and saga , and it doesn't compare to first drop. First drop is warm and dope

obviously the warmth of first drop does not compare to saga or LDC because they are shells.

leahey, if your looking for quality outerwear, get LDC, not first drop. If you are worried about warmth, you wear a hoodie under your jacket

The pants are much warmer then my trew pants, but not as warm as my insulated orage pants. The last two days skiing I did not wear base layer bottoms, just impact shorts and I was pretty warm. Yesterday it was dumping snow here in slc.
The jacket is defintely just a shell, but yesterday I was just wearing a base layer and a tall t under it and I was more than warm, and even had the pit zips open until the sun started to go down.
