All last season i used rented boots from my local east coast ski shop, the boots were shit. But this summer im going to Windells and i dont have any boots. There is not a ski shop in the province that is still open at this time of year. I have been looking at buying Full Tilt hot doggers online, im size 12 and have relatively skinny feet. I have heard alot of good things about them but i have never tried them on. I dont know if i should buy them or not? If you have any other recommendations that would be great aswell.

maybe see if theres a shop close to windells where you could buy some? because youre definitely going to want to try them on before you buy them.

isnt there an arrival day with no skiing? i would find shops through google then call them and let them know that you absolutely need boots. im sure you could find a shop nearby that still sells ski boots at this time though. i can think of so many near my house.

i agree esp if your going to put down some serious cash for the hot doggers. have you tried contacting windells to see if they have any you can demo for the week?

I worked at Hillcrest. They didn't carry any FT's when I was working there, though I was bugging the ski buyer to get some in the shop. They do have Dalbellos which fit very similar. They ARE a great shop for boot fitting though. Theyre off Burnside, close to Highway 26. About 45 minutes from Govy, definitely worth the drive.
