I dont know where you are getting this information, we are working closely with local media and governments to help resolve this problem as soon and as efficient as possible
Yeah, BP fucked up big time...but I fucking hate stupid ass news reporters like douchebag in this video that is being an asshole for no reason to a guy he's never met. The BP guy took orders for what to do when these annoying reporters come up and try to get in their face. If he lets that fucker in to talk he will get in trouble for the job that he is responsible for doing. People are getting to just be dumb about this spill. Yes, it's a big deal but it doesn't give you a reason to be a ignorant fuck to someone who is just doing his job trying to make a living and being scrutinized for rules that he doesn't even make...fuck the media, all they do is twist shit around and piss people off..
I agree with what you are saying regarding the security guard just trying to do his job, but realistically that guy had no authority to tell that reporter where on the beach he was allowed to go. If the guard was concerned about his job security, he should have gone and gotten the supervisor that he said was giving him the orders and gone from there imo.
it is true that the workers were trying to do their jobs. but cant you see the other side...all news reporters want to do their job too...he just wants to get to the bottom of things and inform the world. sometimes it takes being a douche. /sigh
even though BP has been given the 6 month suspension on "off shore" drilling they are finding ways around that. in AK they have started to make a small island off the coast made out of rocks and stuff so its not technically "off shore" well since the rig will be grounded on this tiny man made island. and even more disturbing is that they are planning to drill a few miles down and then start drilling sideways for another few miles so they can tap into some oil fields that are not aloud to have oil rigs built on top of them.
you would be a lot more sucessful at trolling if you had just made a new account instead of one thats a year old and has 4 listed name changes. Food for thought
what ever, I work as a wildland firefighter and we aren't technically supposed to talk to the media without being supervised. A regulation which comes from firefighters saying stupid things to reporters. That reporter seemed like a dick and was wasting everyones time. The media feels far to entitled.
