I cant choose

I have no idea what jacket to choose. I really like what both the saga and first drop jackets offer but I just haven't been able to choose. For reference I live in WA so we are talking wet and cold weather

I don't know about this years gear but as for last years Saga was waaaay better for the typer of weather you mentioned. My Saga jacket was much much much warmer and water proof than my first drop one. But I don't know if FD stepped it up this year or not...

man i am in the same shoes as you!! cant choose.

i really love the fact that FD have the zip off sleves thats dope.
pretty sure this year both brands are super legit so i wouldernt worry about waterproofing. however saga has new 3L material so thats great quality. pretty sure FD is more insulated than saga this year so probs warmer.
the colourways are what have me. both super sick and steezy..
have no idea how i am gonna choose but i will try.

If you buy saga you know you are going to get some of the best quality
And saga is much waterproof with the new 3L jackets and saga is just s shell jacket but still very varm.

First Drop on the other hand I'm not sure about, but last year the where shitty quality. But it seems that Lesh have stepped it up big time to get us the best. First Drop is insulated jacket and not just a shell.

So you should think about it and buy the jacket you like the most.
Anyway you will be satisfied.

Btw: I had saga last year, but bought First Drop this year because I think the design is way cooler and I love the zip of sleves.

Ive heard that sagas are warmer. they've been around a little longer and probably can afford some better/warmer material.
first drops stuff for next season looks super awesome and  they totally stepped up their game.. but if you're looking for warmth > steeze, go saga. and sagas stuff next season still looks pretty steezy, i just like the looks so first drop more.
NOTE: i dont own either brands. but i am hoping to get saga next season (i live in upstate NY so it gets pretty cold).

lethal descent, first drop is is extremely stupid when it comes to pre-sales and saga is ugly this year, so lethal descent or this years saga imo

You're skiing in WA. You should really be going with something thats more waterproof than either, ideally. Anything insulated will just retain water and be soggy all day, so go find a thin, waterproof shell with really good vents and layer it up under.

I live in montana and have been skiing and hiking in some horrible weather, but usually a shell keeps me plenty warm. I cant imagine needing much more. I would go with the saga out of those 2 choices its more technical

The only saga design I like is the tim.d blastoff. I was leaning more towards first drop but that design is just so sick idk if I can just pass it up.
