Anyone who rides mtb will probably appreciate this, or consider it kinda gay...people who bmx may bash on it, but all good since if I rode up to you with my bmx you'd never know I rode this too. Anyways, I gave the DNA the face lift she deserved along with some new wheels to roll on, have been planning to do this for a while and finally got all the parts in. Hope you guys like her, as much as I do.

thats a sick ass bike man, but in my opinion. i would say drop those grips and buy some plain black ones and then get a purple chromag bar. cause chromag is the shit

I mean I know the people who own/run sinister and their riders so I got quite a few cuts on the parts I listed, but the 3300 is the base line where it would cost me.

Also with the fork I traded my beat up Totem for a Fox Van R then traded that for the Float so I really didn't spend anything but shipping.

The wheels, sprocket, and Ti Spindle I got some cuts since Im good with the bikeshop owner and will be working there this summer...

Stem got free from a friend, small parts got from trades in the bmx world of friends for other bmx parts...

So maybe I have spent $2000?...and I think the 1320 difference would show in how my bike rides compared to yours...

Also how the fuck do you buy "horizontal dropouts: 50"...either you bike has em or they don't?

Dude I got a slayer SS for 1,700. That's a lot for a dirtjumper. Sick fork, but you could pick up a nice Flow DJ for that.

I could either of had a decent freeride bike and decent dirt jumper

OR

What I picked a dialed dirt jumper an alright freeride bike, I mean I ride the DNA every day it gets me around town and lets me have fun. My freeride on the other hand I have ridden never on a legit trail or mountain...I don't have ride to get to the trails or people around me that ride that kind of shit, so its sat in the garrage forever.

But IF I lived in VT or NH near a mountain I would probably have a decent dirt jumper and decent freeride bike since I would be doing 50/50 of both. However I'm not so why not have a sick ass dirt jumper instead that get used everyday...I mean I don't rip real hard on it no 360s or back flips but I ride it alot more then other people would.

On the note of the DJ Flow, I had a Chase before this, then I went full out an bought the DNA and peiced it together. But if I were 50/50 like I said before I think I would buy P.3 or STP SS and then for FR a Bottle Rocket, SX Trail, or something like that.

but seriously I know I have a sick bike and I also love all the profile parts too. I have Nothing against bmx bking- some of the shit you guys do is insane

And I'm kinda mad I don't bmx full time I feel I would do alot better and be about $3k richer haha

Yea I know, You said you called me out here earrlier and I didn't see it in the thread so I just said fuck it and thought you were crazy lol

but thanks man, an bout chads gap shit...never met the kid, never been to his place or any of the jumps he rides, closest relation I had to him is I know Mark Loper who takes his pics and John B who I guess rides with him

you paid $1005 for a fox fork???? mine cost $450 new for an 09 rlc 29'er and my other one cost $500

I didn't pay $1005 for it I was listing retail of it all off the top of my head I didn't have time to find all the real prices I paid, but I only paid shipping twice for 2 other forks I traded to get the float

The bikes pretty nice, I want a am/xc bike like a blur so I can ride around on the bike trails here but also go in the mountains since the freeride bike weighs a shit ton and the dna, well it has one speed

I haven't had much riding on it since I was in europe shortly after building it up, but I love it so far. Now I just need to tune in the low/high speed compression (honestly I have no clue what is does lol).

haven't had time since I have been in europe but I'm back now and I'm ready to rip with her, only one slight dellema, its freaking 94 out with humidity, if it weren't for humidity I would be fine. But I have to ride to my trails, then work on them then I can ride...

but I'm just gonna do it anyways with a ton of water with me, I wanna hit some more mtb freindly jumps though the ones near me are big and alot of them but all bmx spaced ya feel me
