Remounting question

i currently have sth14s on my dumonts. as many of you may know they are shitty and have been causing me problems. i have decided i am going to pick up some jesters. my question to you what will happen when i swap the bindings? can i put the jesters in the old holes or will i have to mount them in another set of holes? also this will be their third mount first for a 28 spk and the second for a 27 spk, will this be too many mounts? Is it worth it or should i just fix the sth14s and deal with their nonsense?

No, they have a different mounting pattern, which means new holes and filling in the old ones. I would just stick with the STH14's or get a pair of FKS. Jesters aren't going to solve your problems.

thanks for your input but my sth14s broke after ten days and constantly pre released before they broke. basically i want to know if i put jesters on and it is the third mount on the dumonts will they be fine?

well to be honest, i would tell you to get a new pair of skis also. you're gonna spend probably about 50 bucks remounting, and then your dumonts are probably not going to last very long because they are supposedly extremely unreliable as far as durability goes, and having 3 mounts in them is not going to help one bit.
