tms and marketing managers (bigger companies) arent looking for what tricks you do, but your style, and how you do them... then there is the age factor, are you doing vid segments, or what your comp results look like. personally, i look for the style that the particular athlete brings and how that will match with the company's image/future plans. vids definitely help, but only if they are representing the best traits you have. it's your flair and the first impression is usually the strongest...

now... with that being said... if your goal is just wanting to be a pro, then you will not get too far in this industry. the amount of effort, training, and str8 balls it takes to be the best is more than just talent and being able to ski. you have to really live the life and hope that you are strong and lucky enough to make that kind of life. i have too many stories about how pros act, both from a riding and partying standpoint, and it is not easy... also, there are soooo many "true" riders out there, that are absolutely ripping, but dont give two shits about "being pro".

and for the record... i could give a flying shit about what swear words are on an edit... this is not fuckin disney, we party, drink, smoke, fuck, and live life... just ask anyone that has been to joss, or the x games!!! you have no idea if your time is up, so kill it til the end...

none of you kids will get sponsored with these "gangsta" edits. It's really about how you present yourself. I am a mediocre park skier at best. But because i work at a shop, ski at mammoth 150+ days a year and I know a lot of people in the ski community companies help me out. The best way to get sponsored is to make sure they know you can help further their brand. You can still get "hyphy" thats your choice, but when talking to potential sponsor make sure it at least you pretend you have your shit together.

I thought it was great. In some spots of the edit it seems a bit choppy. Loved the music. To me it fit perfectly. Tricks wise, I'd say keep it up; add some grabs to your arsenal of tricks The flips were sick though. Had to watch it a few times to really soak in how laid out they were.
