JJs or Rory Silva

I can get 08/09 Rory Silvas in 178 or 183 for $300.  Also, I could get last years JJs in size 185 for $400.  I am 5'9" and weigh 145 pounds.  I am looking for a ski that is good in powder and all mountain, but I already have a park ski.  Does anybody have experience with either of these skis?

I only here good things about jjs. N wards
are touchy subjects round these parts so I haven't heard too much about the rory silvas

oh $400 for JJ's I'm hop on that deal, especially for 185's they handle way better than the 175's (at least im told)

but yeah, if they are in good shape, get the jj's!! they are SO LIGHT!! GHSTRCN has them mounted with a pair of jesters (not the lightest binding ever made) and with that 60/40 sidewall construction, THEY ARE RIDICULOUSLY light!!! plus i've heard bad things about Ninthward quality issues, not saying they are true, just bad experience's mainly, but if i was is in your position, i would pick an armada ski over a Ninthward ski any day!

be stupid to pay tha much for rorys.... ninthward were selling off Rorys last month for "name your price" they went as low as like 200 i think.


On another note. I have the 08/09 rorys and i love themm use them bigmountain and park.... and they are sweet.

some kid is selling rory silva pros for $100, and i saw them on some site for $200... jjs are supposed to be awesome, but for how cheap the silvas are id get them

i'd recommend the jjs for extreme pow and rocker elf shoe feel but I have extra rory silvas in my profile if you go that way.

I can only say good things about armada. I would listen to the previous commenters and get the JJ's for sure.. you'll love them

No experience with either, but $100 for a new Rory is hard to pass up.

On the other hand, the Rory doesn't have rocker and probably isn't as good as the JJ in powder, especially in the trees.
