Rainy Afternoon Ride from Matt Anderson on Vimeo.
Few things I noticed:
-Lots of noise in the shots. The iso was at 4000 most shots because of the lack of sun.
-Some underexposure on shots when I didn't want to boost the iso any higher and needed to keep shutter speed at 1/125.
-Time lapse seems to drag on. We need filler to get to the break of the song for the last 2 shots.
-Time lapse was obviously not filmed the same day. Just wanted to test my first time lapse and we need filler for the edit.
Anything else you guy noticed, please let me know. I am always trying to improve.
It was shot on a Canon 17-40mm 4L lens and I used a Manfrotto tripod with 701HDV head. Nothing else.
It also just goes to show how good the 7d's weather proofing is. I have never seen it rain so hard. It was literally a car wash and I had nothing covering my 7d. Before you go throw a bucket of water on your 7d, all Canon L series lens' are weatherproof as well.
Finally, ride is Graeme Duff. His username on NS is UNREAL. He kills it. Sorry for the long thread. Hope you like it.
