Replying to Upgrading hardware.

I am currently looking at upgrading hardware on my Dell Studio 1535 laptop so it will handle HD video better ready to study film and moving image production at university next year. I'm considering updating the graphics card and possibly adding extra RAM as well. Can NS recommend me any specific graphics cards / brands worth looking at? Or is this a case of it not being worth updating hardware and looking for a Macbook Pro or a higher spec laptop?


I am currently running on Intel Core 2 Duo CPU T5750 @ 2.00GHz
just so you have an idea of what kind of jump up i'm looking for
