so im thinking about going to session 7 at windells or a session at woodward.....just wondering peoples opinions about each camp and which camp is more worth the money
From my understanding, woodward is not really a camp? If you go to windells you are going to get wikid good coaching/coaches, lots of real features and a hella lot more fun
234th thread like this but deff go to windells... the things that go on there are unreal. look at all they got now.
you ski on snow.
go home skate.
ski again on the dry slope.
dodgeball tournaments.
races/compositions.
free stuff.
cant forget they got new trampolines and foam pits. what could go wrong there?
Nope.. Windells might have alot of perks, but you will without a doubt learn more at woodward for 3 reasons, 1. smaller groups, 2. full indoor training facility, 3. qualified coaches who are there to teach you what you wanna learn, and aren't there just to ride.
Sure Windells might have mt hood and a chair lift, but Woodward has a decent on hill setup too and you can lap the park via bus. oh and not to mention Woodward is wayyyy cheaper, and you WILL progress because Woodward is all about progression.
So I'll break it down...
Windells = ride at hood, with pro's possibly learn something.
Woodward = complete training on and off hill, and direct training from ski coaches.
My point come to Woodward if you wanna progress quickly and safely, and still have a dope ass time!
go to Windells if you wanna spend a lot of money and just wanna ride for yourself and maybe get a pro to teach you something.
i've been having like the same problem. but in the end i think i'm choosing woodward. little summer seshes satisfy my skiing need so i'm going to try to progress my skating at woodward. and maybe hit the dry slope a few times
This is very false when I went to Windells last year my coach followed me around the whole time and gave me advise on whatever I did. There were other kids in my group who just went off and did there own thing and if you decide to leave your coach thats when they'll ski for themselves. As long as you have the desire to learn you'll learn a lot at Windells.
