they are my favorite band! i love conor. his voice is beautiful. o he is beautiful also.

Yeah I wouldn't walk into the local Starbucks emo crowd and start talking about Bright Eyes, they would probably never listen to anything to had to say again.

As far as I'm concernd the music is pretty good, not the best, wouldn't listen to it all the time.

Not a fan. I downloaded some of the songs, and they all had potential until he started singing. What a whiny, 'i want to fucking cry' piss-me-off voice. Ok. Good Lyrics. Thats aboot all its got going, cause i just cant tolerate the singer.

Going for Gold is a rad Bright Eyes song. I think Bright Eyes is good. He just toured with M. Ward and Jim James (from My Morning Jacket). Both of those guys are great too. M. Ward's 'Transfiguration of Vincent', released last year is one of my favorite releases of 2003. Definetly check it out.

its true, they are a very love-hate kind of band but...for the most part i like them.
