Sooo... today i got may xl blastoff jacket and goldcoast pants! 8)) There are some pics below for all who's wondering how it looks together (haven't seen pics of the combo here yet). i'm 6,0" 183cm. sorry for the crappy pic quality though.
a little review:
first off out of the pack - "it's huge man!!!"! and it is in fact the hugest piece of outerwear i have ever put on! the pants have just the perfect fit on me! The jacket IS HUGE, but i love how it is not rediculously wide. PERFECT! and the sleeves are not too long/wide.
After just seeing how it looks all together i started looking for pockets and details. I just loved the pocket that is behind the zipper flap on the left side - the fleece inside feels awesome! i assume it's for an ipod/phone/whatever. It seems that it should stay warm all the time, so your ipod doesn't freeze. there are also some usefull pockets on the jacket and pants, but they are not fleece lined.I like the colours - yellow is yellow, light blue is a little darker than light blue, but purple is a little faded, would have been better if purple was brighter. but is looks good anyways! and guys: the fit IS great. There are also some other details, but you better look at them with your own eyes! ;)
What i didn't really like: some thread came out on some stitches (nothing - just cut it off); the stitching is not lined on some parts (the hood for example); the underpits vents are purple on yellow (looks like a wheird line); the back vent zipper pops out alittle bit on the sides so it looks like you have a huuuuuge asss (hope it goes away in some time)... and the goggle pocket doest have any closure like velcro or zipper on it, so i assume the goggles will fall out when bending (i haven't tried though).
I just took it outside to check how warm it is. and it's not warm at all - it's a shell. it's -15C out here and i only had a teeshirt and a hoody under, but i guess if you have some fleece liner under a hoodie you'll be fine at such temperatures. i'll test it tommorrow skiing.
All together : couldn't expect more for a 450$ value suit (inc. shipping)!!!
ps. sorry for my spelling, grammar and phrase building - i can write much better but in russian... ;)
