Did anyone that rides white pass, washington buy a goldcoast jacket or hybridTOO pants? really hoping someone doesn't say yes to this. it sounds like the medium stuff won't be in for a while. which sucks because riding the pnw with a cheap costco shell and crappy burton pants isn't going well for me. lol.

as far as i can remember the last time they had this problem was several years ago. while im not saying you shouldn't be upset (i would be too), this is a risk you take with smaller companies. their manufacturers have other duties, unlike someplace like oakley that im willing to bet has a dedicated factory for them only. while you have every right to be bummed (after all they did say everything would be shipped by the 30th) it really is beyond saga's control.

he still has a very legitimate reason to be pissed, this happened to them either 2 or 3 years ago as well, and theyve only been in business 4 or 5 years, so that means theyve had massive shipping problems. i dont want to say "i told you so" but i foresaw this like a month ago, and i still believe it's unacceptable. i got my Saga yesterday and it's fucking awesome, i really cant complain about the quality of the product at all, but i feel for everyone who hasnt gotten theirs yet. shipping was expected by November 30th at the latest, then it was moved back and they told everyone the last of the stuff would be out the door by the 14th, now it sounds like they're changing their tune yet again and telling some people it wont ship til after xmas. i told myself id stop being so critical of them now that i have my gear, but i cant help it, that really is a raw deal for all the people who put their faith in Saga. they need to contract a manufacturer who can actually make a shipping deadline, either that or they need to finalize their new designs like a year in advance to give the idiots over in China enough time to get everything finished by November.

I feel for everybody on this mess. I emailed Saga, waited four days, then emailed them again at their other email address. Still no reply, stuff happens with shipping I understand this first hand. There is no excuse however for not contacting faithful customer's who have pre-paid with lots and lots of $. If I don't get a reply within a few days im calling my credit card company.

Should be okay if you didn't want it huge. I'm 6ft and got xl it's huge I wouldn't have gone any bigger it's like and inch above my knee

Kind of off topic, but I think Saga should seriously consider changing up their sizing next year. They need a fourth size, because half the people who want Saga are in between the huge sizing gap. This year it went M-31" L-34" XL-37.5"?. Imo they should add XXL and have it go something like this: M-31" L-33" XL-35" XXL-37". This would also help people who aren't used to jackets that run huge pick an appropriate size. Just an idea that might be helpful since only 3 sizes leaves a bit of a gap.

The sizing gap is ridiculous i just switched from large pant to xl but i really need like a 34 inseam not 36 or 32.5. I think LDC did a great job for sizes this year

the XL pants really arent insane. i got mine in the mail yesterday, i switched from L so i could get my stuff sooner and i was a liiiiittle hesitant but it was the right call. I'm on the low end of 5'10" and they look really good...definitely need a belt but they're not massively oversized like the FD pants were last year. theyre pretty long but i can still sag them a little and they dont look dumb at all.

i said it before, and ill say it again, saga pants are really not that big compared to other brands, special blend xl is 35', xl 686 long is 34.5', orage xxl is 33.5'.

Great this makes me feel a lot better i kept the jacket at a large to cuz that seems a reasonable length. Im a little upset at the customer service though i remember 3 years ago i ordered a suit and then had to return it and they were actually emailing me like 3 times a week making sure everything was going alright in terms of shipping. They even offered to pay for new suit shipping and everything. Now they wont answer a simple email about switching my order.

x4.. I ordered L gold coast jacket and L syrup pants, and I ordered them shipped to my house back home. Now if they don't ship until after christmas, I want them shipped to my place at school instead..

Anyone have some solid info on any of those pieces? And kinda disappointing that they don't update stuff like this on the blog once they know it, as a customer I really shouldn't have to learn through this thread, like someone probably did with their king cobra jackets..

the best way is to get lucky and catch them when someone is signed into their live chat thing on their online store, that's how i got in touch with them earlier this week. they sorted me out quick and now i have my stuff.

Everyone that has had trouble reaching saga i recommend doing what i did. I emailed them at three different email addresses of theirs and they responded next day to one of them! the address they responded to is the sean one and it isn't on their site.

Now I'm getting a bit annoyed by this, seeing as how the last week of december is not "before" christmas, as their shipping update. Now it might be that this just goes for newly placed orders.

But still, I kinda feel that, since I pre-ordered and paid for my suit in june, that I'm entitled to a proper update. I also feel that it shouldn't be my responsibility to search all around on their site, around on ns or contact them them via various channels to find out what's happening to my order. And a more detailed update than the "the remainging gear will come in later" wouldn't be wrong either. I wanna know what gear is in house, and what gear isn't. What what express shipping means (cause not all express shipping, especially international is very "express").
